Castle Celeb?

In this, the last week of our first season, we have seen colder weather, shorter days, and many eager visitors grabbing their last opportunity to see the castle in 2010. Knowing that there are only a few days left to see the castle in her first year of construction, school groups and families are traveling great distances to experience the wonders of our 13th century phenomenon, and leaving with the assurance that they have experienced something truly significant. Take for example these visitors from Little Rock. Best friends Emily and Holly along with their moms Terri and Tina were so excited about the future of Ozark Medieval Fortress that they instantly recognized our resident founding partner, Jean-Marc Mirat as a celebrity and requested 4 autographs…one for each of them!! Mesmerized by the importance of the project, these ladies knew that the castle has the potential to become one of the most visited and recognizable attractions in the United States. As if the glowing comments in our guest book aren’t enough, viewing our investors as up and coming celebrities certainly is a testament to the response we have received in our first year. So, Jean-Marc willingly obliged the ladies by putting his “John Hancock” on each of their guide maps and posing for numerous pictures. But now we have to wonder if they had paparazzi in the Middle Ages…
