Castle Hauntings??

Someone spotted a NINJA at the castle!!! And a Tinkerbell, too? Oh my!! It must have been Halloween weekend at the castle. Grabbing the opportunity to sport a little 13th century ghoulish activity, the workers at the castle donned a few costumes that were a l m o s t medieval and accented a few of our already spooky attributes. A goodwitch with a smoking cauldron of “eyeballs and leeks”, a few medieval tales, a doctor with scary tools and blood-sucking leeches, and a graveyard of dearly departed castle workers greeted the visitors Halloween weekend. Also included in the events was a costume contest for the youngest visitors. Pictured here are Makenna and Lakota, aka Tinkerbell and Ninja, who won the “cutest” and “scariest” titles. The only thing missing from the event was the always required “castle ghost” but we feel certain that one will be moving in at some point as the castle walls are going up. That makes it even more important that our visitors visit often and check on his presence… where else in the United States would an authentic castle ghost live but in our authentic 13th century castle?
