Last Hurrah of Summer

Wow, Labor Day is past and summer is over. Time to settle in for the long haul until Christmas. We had a great weekend here at the Fortress entertaining guests with demonstrations of gunpowder, armed combat, armor, trebuchets, costuming, illuminations and more. The weather was PERFECT! I think after this hot, hot summer we are all ready to settle into fall. (Side note: we surpassed our previous one day record on Saturday and tied it on Sunday, for a great weekend). If the days seem long, come see us at the fortress and we will amaze you with life in the Middle Ages. We’ll be expecting you.
