Fortress voted 10 top places to visit in Arkansas from the AR Department of Parks & Tourism

Thanks to all of you who participated!


Wednesday June 15, 2011 marks the 175th anniversary of the statehood of Arkansas. In an online vote, residents picked the name: Septaquintaquinquecentennial.

Residents of the Natural State also voted on their favorite places to visit. More than 50,000 people participated in the online vote. The following are the top 10 selected “Things to See and Do” in the Natural State (in alphabetical order):
