Rest From Your Labors at the Fortress

Labor Day is Special here!

A 13th century castle is rising from an Ozark mountainside which magically resembles Medieval Europe.
Not only has our talented staff been building a REAL fortress but we have been making friends!
Every holiday special occaision gets better and better.
Be one of the privilaged to join us Labor Day weekend to be awestruck and participate in unique and fascinating experiences for all ages, not soon forgotten:
-Fire toy trebuchets next to our carpenters building a real one
-Put on real armor to see how it feels after observing experts in medieval combat demonstrate hand to hand battle – Be there for one of the most riveting living history demonstrations ever seen, combining “myth busting” of commonly held beliefs about gunpowder with applied practical chemistry. The actual shooting of the “gonne” entails a significant WOW factor.
Not to mention ALL the other participatory activities:
Illuminations, spinning/weaving/dying/ felting, pottery, rope making, and stone carving classes, and, of course, our masons cutting, shaping and laying up stone to build this amazing fortress.
Feed our sheep and play medieval games together.
There are life changing experiences for everybody at the only attraction of its kind in America.
An inspiration for all who visit!
